$15 buck is great, but if its based on the BFBC2 Engine my rig just is too old and slow. So I gotta spend some real dough just to upgrade. So if any of you feel sorry for me start to repopulate the bf2 servers once in a while. I am not really a fan of Bad company 2 cause I really enjoy the LARGE maps of BF2. Bad company 2 seems like an upgraded COD shooter to me...

Anyway if you do see me in a BFBC2 Server stay away from my squad cause I am just running to slow to be affective at this stage.

From what I'm reading, it uses Frostbite engine 1.5 but without the 2.0 destruction mod that's used in BFBC2. So yes, it's about the same.

Speaking of which and for those who may not know. There are only 4 allowed to a squad. All squad members can spawn on each other. There is no squad leader.

Gman,

I'll met up with ya as I am in a similar situation (video card); and as far as priorities it is on the wish list at this point.

(maybe I'll get lucky this summer?)

At any rate, that's why you haven't seen me. :(

Believe me sidewinder, it ain't as much fun without an 'ol Navy man to stir the pot :( Those Nvidia 9800 GTX / GTS 250 cards more than do the job. Most are priced in the low to mid $100 range.

Looks like the game will be released on July 9th. Another reason I will not pre-order anymore.

yeh i cant play BC2 on my pc yet as ned to build one. so i still play bf2 for now. seems realy old compared to BC2 now but the fun is still there. i cant belive our BF2 servers are always empty. this is a real sad loss. they were always full and the place to be. ive trawled other servers and there are still guys still out there playing this game. i wonder if i can do some covert recruiting to come play our servers.

come on guys. lets get our servers populated again. they all sem really empty. yes all including BC2.
